DIRECTING

I’ve directed twelve productions, from indie projects to professional shows. I start with no limits, building the show from my specific eye and thinking about how it would live right now. I push the boundaries, test the edges, and explore what the story can do when you let it breathe in new ways.

My strength as a director is people. I read behavior fast and use that to shape performances that feel grounded in the character’s perspective. I love the weirdos, the misfits, and I push actors to find that same energy in their work. I build rooms where risk, play, and strange choices are welcome, where humor, tension, and vulnerability coexist in the same breath.

I work across theater, film, television, and puppetry, bringing a multidisciplinary, outsider’s eye to every project. Being trans gives me a perspective I lean into stories about identity, transformation, and inhabiting a self that’s always shifting fascinate me. Directing is about world building, rhythm, and embracing the freaky, magical edges of story so the audience experiences the world through the character’s eyes, not reality’s.
